Remove dead, dull cells to reveal brighter, smoother skin and a mood-enhancing radiant glow

Microdermabrasion is one of the most popular skin care treatments we offer here at Lolachi Institute. It improves your skin in several different ways:

  • Reduces superficial fine lines
  • Improves skin texture and tone
  • Stimulates circulation and cell renewal
  • Improves acne by extracting whiteheads and blackheads
  • Minimizes appearance of large pores

It works by gently exfoliating and vacuuming away the outermost layer of skin, which is composed of dead, dull cells. This stimulates the skin to intuitively heal itself, removing imperfections to reveal a brighter, smoother new surface.  With regular treatments, this procedure stimulates your own skin to produce more collagen, which results in tighter skin.

At Lolachi Institute, we use medical grade Microdermabrasion equipment, which is not sold to aestheticians or nurses.

During the treatment

As with all treatments at Lolachi Institute, the procedure will be carried out by Dr. Lolachi, our board-certified medical doctor. The perks of having a professionally trained medical practitioner carry out the treatment are far greater precision and a lower risk of any side-effects.

Dr. Lolachi will carry out the treatment in our tranquil spa using a diamond encrusted wand (the DiamondTome microdermabrasion system) to resurface your skin. You do not need to carry out any preparation to your skin, and the effects are visible just hours later – there’s a reason why it’s been called the ‘instant facelift’!

After the treatment

We’ll smother you with medical grade facial products to act as a protective barrier while your new skin cells come to the surface. There might be a small amount of redness immediately after treatment however this usually subsides after a few hours. It’s fine to apply some makeup and head straight back to work after the treatment.

We recommend carrying out a series of 4 treatments every 2-3 weeks, followed by monthly treatments, to see the maximum effects.
