If you are tired of lines and wrinkles, or suffering from blemished, rough or damaged skin, then a chemical peel is the treatment you’ve been looking for.
A chemical peel is a non-invasive technique to gently peel away the skin’s outer layer stimulating the growth of new cells and collagen below the surface, to reveal a restored and rejuvenated new complexion.
Whether you want to simply brighten and tighten your facial skin – or tackle some serious scarring and pigmentation spots – chemical peels come in a variety of strengths to suit your unique dermatological needs.
At Lolachi Institute, your medical-grade peel will be carried out by Dr. Lolachi, board-certified medical doctor and industry-leading wellness expert. Unlike most medical spas, at Lolachi Institute, Dr. Lolachi personally sees and treats every patient. Not a nurse, not an aesthetician—just your own personal doctor, there every time to work on your needs and carry out the treatment.
You’ll receive a physician-grade medical grade peel, which is far more effective and better tailored to your skin than the milder cosmetic version carried out in most clinics with estheticians. There is minimal down-time and Dr. Lolachi’s treatment will be based on a medical assessment of your unique skin type and designed to optimize your skin’s natural radiance.
Whichever strength you choose – your new, regenerated skin will be brighter, smoother and more youthful than before. Peels are a quick and almost painless way to achieve considerable results making them highly accessible to try out.

What to expect
At Lolachi Institute we offer different types of medical-grade chemical peels, including but not limited to Salicylic Acid peel, The Vi-Peel, and The Perfect Derma Peel.
The Salycylic Acid peel has a concentration of 10-30% which makes it particularly beneficial for oily acneic skins, clogged pores and seborrheic dermatitis. By dissolving the top layer of the epidermis it also smooths out and resurfaces dry and dehydrated skin as well as dramatically improving sun damaged and wrinkled skin.
The VI Peel and The Perfect Derma Peel are chemical peels which combine the strongest and most effective acids with a virtually painless process and very little downtime. All skin types can benefit from these peels. They offer anti-aging and restorative skincare to African-American and Latino skin for the very first time, and can treat teenage acneic skins as young as 12 years old.
During the treatment
These procedures take just 20 minutes or less and are carried out by Dr. Lolachi in our tranquil spa setting. They require no pre-conditioning of the skin, just an initial appointment for Dr. Lolachi to assess your skin type and decide on your treatment together.
During the VI peel you will experience virtually no pain, only a very slight numbing of the skin. The Salicylic peel ranges from light, medium or deep – depending on the strength you choose you will experience a slight sting or itching sensation during the first 2-3 minutes, however, the rest of the treatment should not cause pain or discomfort.
After the peel
After the Salicylic peel, mild peeling could last from 5-7 days depending on the strength used. Since the peel contains Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) which increases your skin’s sensitivity to the sun we recommend using Elta MD Sunscreen which provides broad spectrum protection, and we do not recommend wearing makeup for the first few days.
The skin peeling associated with the VI Peel and The Perfect Derma Peel, is a light, fluffy peel that generally starts on day three and is generally finished by day seven. The peeling is easily hidden by moisturizer and in some cases, the peel is virtually invisible. You can return to work and wear makeup within 48 hours after receiving either of these peel.
For all peels, your beautiful new skin will be visible after just one week.
How many treatments are required?
A Salicylic Acid Peel is a progressive treatment that will not provide a final result with one peel. A Salicylic Acid Peel can be performed every 2-4 weeks depending on the condition of your skin and the problem with which you are dealing.
The VI Peel and The Perfect Derma Peel may be repeated as often as every three to four weeks, if necessary, for damaged and problematic skin. Our recommendation for maintenance of average skin would be once every three months to prevent damage and aging of the skin. Dr. Lolachi will evaluate your skin, as well as your goals and expectations and make an appropriate recommendation for ongoing skin care.
